This unique collection continues our passion for beautiful cat and dog illustrations, usually surrounded by the charm of English flowers, but this time, set against the backdrop of beloved village landmarks.
We’ve begun our adventure in the historically rich village of Elstow, a place deeply cherished by John Bunyan, the author of Pilgrim’s Progress, who lived there many years ago. Our illustrations capture the essence of this remarkable village, featuring:
- The amazing Jacobean architecture that graces the high street.
- The historic Moot Hall, where John Bunyan once gathered with others.
- The serene Elstow Abbey, other wise known as St. Mary’s Church and the poignant St. Helena Nunnery Ruins.
- Even the very cottage where John Bunyan lived with his wife.
